More About Our Members

MEMBER BENEFIT

RRC ROUNDUP

Our annual RRC Roundup is the only event of its kind in the United States!

Held over a weekend in autumn, the Roundup is our way of encouraging members to meet and share experiences while learning from RRC coaches and guest speakers.

We begin with a meet and greet on Friday afternoon. We may meet in a hotel conference room and share hors d’oeuvres, go on a museum crawl together, or hang out in a park.

Saturday is a full-day seminar opening with keynote speeches. In the afternoon, we hold breakout sessions where members gather in small groups with guest speakers and RRC coaches to discuss a wide range of retirement and pre-retirement topics. Our most recent Roundup included sessions like How to Choose Your Social Security Strategy, Navigating a Solo Retirement, Strategies to Build a Growth Mindset, Exercising Correctly, Women’s Transition Into Retirement, and How to Choose a Retirement Planner.

Past Roundups have featured keynotes from Retirement Researcher Wade Pfau, Joe Saul-Sehy of the Stacking Benjamins podcast, author Veronica McCain, business coach Nick Kennedy, Jim Saulnier of The Retirement & IRA Show, and Medicare expert Danielle Roberts.

The Roundup closes on Sunday at noon, after a final keynote and another brief round of breakout sessions.

In addition to the planned activities, club members often gather in smaller groups throughout the weekend to enjoy local attractions and flavor. This often includes an evening at the rodeo, exploring restaurants, pickleball games, sunrise or sunset walks around town, and tours of the Fort Worth Stockyards. Last year we were excited to view the annular solar eclipse together as well.

We’re pleased to host the only holistic retirement planning conference for retirees as an exclusive benefit for Rock Retirement Club members.

We believe that there is more to retirement planning than solving a complicated math problem.

There’s more to it than determining the exact financial stockpile you must build up so that it will last you the rest of your life.

Retirement represents an exciting opportunity to live life on your own terms, free from the obligations of the 9-to-5 working world. It’s a time when you can truly pursue your own unique interests, meaning, and purpose.

The Rock Retirement Club offers you the education, empowerment, and inspiration you need to make the most of the only life you have.

What does it mean to “rock retirement”?

Rocking retirement (verb) - utilizing your resources to create your imagined best life; reaching a state where decisions about money and life are intertwined

Here in the Rock Retirement Club and on the Retirement Answer Man podcast, we talk all the time about “rocking retirement.” But what does that mean? More importantly, what does it mean for you?

Here are some definitions of “rocking retirement” from our Club members.

“Enjoying the freedom I have to do the things that matter most to me.”

“My time is now my own.”

“Thriving instead of just surviving.”

“Not being obligated to someone else’s calendar and agenda.”
